The architectural approach focused on preserving the structurally elements of the original building while redefining the residence through a cohesive design language. Inspired by American East Coast homes set within wooded landscapes, the design combines natural materials, clean architectural lines and generous glazed openings.
A pitched timber ceiling, exposed wooden beams and carefully integrated lighting contribute to a warm and inviting interior atmosphere. Large openings establish a visual connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing the surrounding greenery to become an integral part of the architectural composition.
The project explores the relationship between existing and new, combining functionality, natural materials and contemporary design to give the residence a renewed identity and a stronger connection to its surroundings.
